Dr. Handly’s concerns are two fold; number one, what’s wrong, what is the problem and number two, can chiropractic help you?
He is a stickler on detail and will ask a lot of questions. He is looking for good concise answers.
After you talk if he thinks he can help you he will tell you and if he can’t, he will try and find someone who can.
Dr. Handly is concerned about cost containment, which is why he never recommends any tests, x-rays or treatment unless they are absolutely necessary.
Most importantly, Dr. Handly believes in teamwork between him and the patient. In fact, that is why he gets the good results that he does is because he asks his patients to work with him like a team. He, also, asks his patient to work as hard as he does.
You will complete a patient introduction form. You can download our Patient introduction form and fill it out prior to your visit, if you wish.
During Dr. Handly’s consultation, you and he will discuss in depth the reason for your visit. Next, Dr. Handly will conduct a comprehensive health history and a very thorough examination including spinographic x-rays to see exactly what is wrong.
Dr. Handly will need time to analyze & study the x-rays and integrate his examination findings. He uses these findings to determine exactly what is wrong and to outline the best course of care for your problem.
Based on your consultation, examination and x-rays, Dr. Handly will determine if he can help you and outline the best course of care for your problem. Finally, he will discuss the conditions on which he will accept your case for care. He will report these findings to you on your next visit.
